Hello everyone,

First, let me say thank you to every person who signed up and tried out Muelsfell. Everyone from the folks who signed up, maybe built one golem, and left, to those die-hards who still play regularly to this very day. There will never be a way to convey just how sincerely I mean this, so I'll say it simply: Thank you very much for being part of Muelsfell. :)

Now for the bad news: Muelsfell will be shutting its doors on Friday, August 8th, 2014.

After this time, you will no longer be able to log into the game.

Normally I would keep the game open, but unfortunately there's a server resource issue. Since I'm extremely busy working lately, it's just most efficient to shut things down rather than interrupt paying work to turn my attention to Muelsfell for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Muelsfell was always an experiment, and I would say without a doubt a successful one. A seven year lifespan is an eternity on the internet. It stumbled on its first legs, it thrived, and then it lay down, mostly quiet. It lived, and I'm proud of it.

But now it's time to say goodbye.
