Thread: Skulls and slot machine

So here I am, playing the slot machine, and suddenly, I get two skulls. Its happened before, -250 money.

I pull again, and I get.... two skulls.

I lose a pair of 7's to a skull.

I get two skulls twice in a row...

I get THREE skulls (-1500 money)

Is something wrong? Or is the slot machine supposed to be that vindictive? I've pulled the lever almost (guessing) 500-800 times this morning, and the best I've gotten is two 7's twice (maybe three times) And the lowest I've gotten is -5000 or so money in those 800 pulls.

Final score for the muelsfell day, -4800.

Wow! I find that if I drop about 500-1000 money into it, I'll come ahead by 500-1000. If I put more money in than that I will wind up barely breaking even. Last time I played though, I did notice a lot less wins. Sounds like now it's gotten even rougher. Those lousy casinos.

I'm thinking it might generate a random coefficient of luck each day, rather than having consistent set odds. But I haven't poked around with that since I got over my... problem. :(
