What does it do? Its description does not make alot of sense. Also what are the benefits of it over the Golembane spikes?

the hacksaw allows you to cut apart your golem. So if you create a golem torso, you can use the hacksaw to cut off the pelvis and abdomen. Then you can attach whatever other abdomen and pelvis you want. the alternative is to hope they get destroyed in battle.

It uses quite a bit of motivation though. 18 for most limbs and 36 for abdomen/pelvis. Think that's what it is anyway, somewhere around there.

yeah, that's right, makes it only really useful for exotic golems where the damage to the chest that would happen when knocking the bit off is prohibitively expensive.

So far there are only the three quest slots. Maybe after spells come out Kep might add another. :)
