Hey - I have a question. I dont play other games really - this is the first online game that seemed interesting. But I dont understand the purpose of motivation. It seems to slow down the pace of play to a snail's crawl. the other parts of the game (experience, leveling, alignment) all take a long time to progress; isnt that enough to keep things on the right pace? I'm sure i'm missing something essential to the craft of gaming ;-)... |

It's primary purpose is to stop powerful players from beating the tar out of absolutely everybody else. ^_^ Once you get in the swing of things, you can beat your opponents pretty consistently, so... So, you're right actually. It's to slow the game down. ^_^ You have huge down time between all your precious attack actions, where you're supposed to obsess over how to make the most of your next flurry, or how you're going to afford the repair bill. ^_^ |
