Just reading it just now and noticed that the italics didn't stop between messages... From the looks of it, when the message finished with italics it didn't register a finish.

Does that even make sense... and I'm not actually here... :p

I think it probably cut off the quote for the ticker before the /i> occured

That's exactly what happened.

Not sure there's an easy fix, short of searching the string for unclosed html which could be messy... As a temp fix, I've increased the length of the ticker message slightly.

To be honest, I have been thinking for a while that the ticker should just show the titles and authors of recent articles. It would go through each article faster, and for things like the classifieds it is kind of redundant.
