What does this do exactly?

Is it an infinite use item that reduces the return time on golems?

Is it X trips are reduced to 0 then its spent and you must buy another?

I haven't tried mine yet, but according to the announcement Kep made and the Premium features page, it holds 20 charges, and reduces the return time to 1 second. Just like if you are in your adjoining hunting area. After that you need to install a new one, or if it gets knocked off your golem. Not sure if they are salvagable though.
