Oh, we're not evac'ing.

Not after rita's performance. Sharing a space the size of my computer desk with the dog for 20 hours for it to end up being a category 3? Never again.

We will probably lose electricity though, so if anyone has a grudge with me now's your chance xD.

Yeah, galveston looked pretty bad from what I saw on the news. Quite the storm surge they got.

We actually didn't get hit too bad though. The worst part of it was that we lost our backyard fence and the power went out for a day. Other than that, we're doing fine.

Lucky you, I'm on the north side of Houston and went through the bad side of the ring the entire time, neither skirting the edge nor going through the eye. Lost power for 2 weeks, finally getting things back in order.
