Is there any way to find out what drops the secondary resources other than to just start attacking each monster a few times and see?

I saw a thread about gold,silver, and adamantium but what about glass, gems, copper, and bronze?

Used to be one about glass and gems, probably way down the list though. Most second levels drop them as do the higher level creatures. Don't think I've ever seen brass or copper as drops though. Most of us just farm them.

All Level ones will drop bronze. Not a lot obviously though. I think I remember the Fae Banshee (LVL 3) dropping more of it, as a rare item, but could be mistaken as that is pretty far from my normal hunting zones.

Some do drop bronze and brass(the half golem abomination drops copper, bronze and brass I believe). But there isn't any way to know what drops what without trying it or asking someone who's tried it so far as I know.
