Seeing as there has been a recent decline in military activity, in order to keep the world from going stale, to earn a little extra money, but mostly just to feed our own dark blood lust, the New World Order hereby announces our services as a hired blade, or in layman's terms, pay us and we'll go blow up someone's workshop for you. We do not discriminate on the basis of age, region, race, sex, clan*, or creed, however, all bribes are subject to counter-bribing. Cost will be determined by the following formula. (10 x motivation spent) + (2 x chest damage) + rest of damage + (25 x limbs knocked off) + (20 x wall levels reduced ) + (50 x destroyed golem's ECL). So, say I sent two copper attacks at someone's level one iron golem, and completely destroyed it. At a total of 24 motivation spent, 175 chest damage, 200 other damage, 3 limbs knocked off, 4 wall levels reduced, and an ECL of 7, your total cost would be 1295. I'd say that's a fair rate, though it is open to debate if anyone thinks there is a better formula. Payment should be made in coins, however in certain cases we may take resources of equal value. In the event of a counter bribe, refunds will not be made. *Obviously, attempts to bribe any NWO member to attack another NWO member will be met with sarcasm and possibly group ridicule.Last Edited: Sep 19, 2008, 11:11 pm |

A related family story (true, too): My grandfather and his brother were getting close to coming to blows during an argument out in the oil field. One of their coworkers offered up $5 because he "wanted to see brothers fight". So they tackled the coworker, took his $5, and poured dirt in his mouth. So see? Accepting money to watch two NWO members fight could be lucrative! |

Oooh. Didn't even think of that. Sure you don't belong in NWO? That's pretty evil. |

Was the argument about milkshakes and the drinking thereof? |

Don't mercenaries like to get paid BEFORE a military action? With your formula, it would be required to pay after the attacks have occured. Also what happens if the employer can't or won't pay up? |

If the customer lacks proper payment after the attacks have been made, arrangements can be made to pay off their debt over time. As for outright refusal, well I think you can guess what would happen then. |

Ha. That sounds about right, Yami. Though we won't have any problems (or profit) at the rate we're going. Guess it's too early for anyone to have really formed a grudge against anyone else =(. |

You could try to encourage some? Give people some pokes, and some prods, and convince them they've been wronged? |
