I was fighting with my starter golem, getting xps farming the dire roach.

and I logged out, because I was doing something on another game, and when I logged back in, he is gone!!!

no sign of him anywhere, no items, to weapon, no nothing!!!

just an empty space outside saying there was no golem outside>

OMG - it had a clan weapon on him, and it didn't show as returned to clan either :-(

and don't even suggest that I scrapped it with all the parts on him. I was fighting.

The logs are showing that a blight roach destroyed it in a combat. I don't see any logs referencing a clan item loss in OTAKU's activities.

Send me a message, and I'll dig a little deeper so we can see what happened.

Hey, I had something similar happen right before I had to log off for an appointment this morning.

I was fighting the Brimstone Stalker in the Netahku, when it said I got a critical hit to the chest that destroyed my golem. I checked the local area immediately to get my eyes and armor, but there was nothing there.

When I went to my basement, my golem's there, with eyes and armor, but no clan weapon. I checked the clan activity to see if it'd returned, but nothing.

Kinda weird.

I really can't see why my golem would die there, I have been fighting there for months now.

And my golem didn't show up in my basement. I really wish there would be a report of the death of golems :-(

Hrmm. Not a bad idea - as a "death certificate" if you will - a system generated message to your in box when there is a combat death.

When we grieve, we may not take a moment to record the important details regarding the death of a loved one; Jeeves usually takes care of those things for me. ~sniff sniff~

I wonder if this is a case of the repeating combat? I had one way back when, where it kept refreshing and attacking. Maybe you closed the window, but the code kept repeating the fight until your golem was destroyed?

I have no idea Pegga, I do know that my golem should never have been destroyed there in one round.

Still no sign of clan's scimitar :-( It just looks like everything about my golem just disappeared :-(

That was sort of my point, that it wasn't a single round.

I've had the golem repeatedly initiate a fight without me clicking on anything. If I hadn't been online and watching (plus, being an attack far away and had time between attacks), the hit points would have gone down and my golem would have been destroyed as well. I eventually ran out of motivation and the code reset itself.

If your golem was destroyed then all items on the golem would be destroyed, including clan weapons.

If the tab/window is closed, then it's impossible for an accidental refresh to initiate a combat. The page refresh stuff is handled by Javascript, which is all client side. When the page refreshes, it sends the appropriate values that initiate a combat, etc. Close the window, and the Javascript is stopped, too.

The lack of records on a clan item loss is likely related to the item drop issue, which I haven't been able to correct yet.
