Hi, so, clans are coming out eventually, but that doesn\'t mean we can\'t start organizing (unofficially) one now. And since, so many of us got here from Tales of MU, I figure, why not a Tales of Mu clan (led by yours truly, of course... maybe ) First, what kind of clan will it be? Well, mostly it will be a clan for mature, decent, low-drama, people. This is not meant to be a raiding clan, though attacks will be replied to in kind. And it\'s not here to take over the world. It\'sfor friends to hang out and assist each other though. Of course, since this would be one of the first clans in the game, and based on ToMU, I expect us to be a relatively big force early on, which will be great, especially since we can set a good tone for the early clans. Second, why unnamed? Well, I have a name in mind, but I don\'t want to have it registered before I get a chance to. Plus, if I get a lot of people interested, they may have other suggestions. Third, who am I looking for? Well, everybody who feels they are a mature, reasonable person and likes Tales of MU. Any player alignment is fine. But I am especially looking for people who\'d want to be clan officers early on - particularly ones in charge of a website and recruiting. People who can build well are a plus, but I\'m not too worried about that at this point. Fourth, what do we do until clans are in? Well, we can still chat using this thread, or a website I or a hopefully-better-than-me web-officer puts up. And trade and assist one another informally, of course. Or just go \"Ooook\" at one another a lot. So, if you\'re interested in this, put up a post here and/or message me. *BTW - by mature, I mean, low drama, not someone who tends to give others a hard time. Of course, given the clan is based on ToMU, mature could be taken in a different fashion - and that\'s ok too, but not the explicit point of this potential group. Oook! You can count me in. I'd love to help out a bit. My writing, proofreading, and organizational skills are good, but be warned I've got no website-creating ability. |

I'm not officer material, but I'd love to be in the clan when it starts. I can contribute resources if nothing else. That, and pass around RP cookies. Or banana pudding, whichever. |

Sounds like a blast to me! ;-) As long as non refresh monkeys are allowed. As a credit to my nerd status i've even written out a background for my magus. (sad I know) so this oughta be fun. |

Sounds like a nice idea. I'm definitely interested, and can be officer material. But I am currently somewhat hesitant to commit to anything before it is clear what the actual clan mechanics will be and how this clan and others will fit into that. |

Fair enough :) This is just me kicking around the idea and trying to get people interested, I don't think any needs to feel 100% committed to anything here. We don't know if there's going to be a limit on people joining, if PVP is a requirement, etc etc |

Count another one in - while not a refresh monkey myself, I do keep tabs on ToMU and the other AE stories. Not really sure I'd be talkative enough for officership, but I think I could pull off activity at least. |

Count me in! I have some pretty decent skills as a webmaster... I also own my copy of dreamweaver... which I love. *hugs his dreamweaver* Anyways... I joined Muelsfell because of ToMU, and hey, we could call it 'ToMU'... it's short, simple, to the point and also very hard to say repeatedly very quickly. Ignore that... the other half of my brain is a creative maniac. Anyways, I'm all for the idea! And if you want a sample of my work, contact me via message with your email and I'll send you a couple sample images of some of my demo work. |

Awesome, hopefully one way or another we'll have a board set up soon, and a place to start conversing! :) |

no worries, I doubt officer duties will amount to much for a while though, except our web person. |

I'm still working on my first cup of coffee this morning. Yeah, I'm another person that got here from reading Tales of Mu. |

No offense to call girls, but I don't really want to be associated in any way with female prostitutes. :P |

I would refuse to join if y'all were called refresh monkeys.... and ToMU, while descriptive, is not exactly a "name". Khersians would at least be a "name" |

Very nice. I especially like 1, 2, and 4. Haven't decided which is my favorite. :D FatherLatour said: There are tons of good names for a ToMU clan... I like 2 <3 as a name. Or ¤&Atil de;ƒï¿½Ã‚¨Ã&ium l;¿½Ã¯Â¿Â&frac1 2; or something, like a fraternity? EDIT: wow, that encoded wrong. Tau-Psi-Omicron or something. Last Edited: Apr 21, 2008, 7:12 pm |

Guess I should mention here that you're going to be limited to alphanumeric characters and spaces for clan names. Sorry! :) You'll also have to come up with an abbreviation of up to six characters. For example, Agoroshian Magus Cabal would be AGOMC. This is what will be displayed on ranks and profile pages and the like. Kep |

Good ideas, keep them coming. I personally like Harlowe Harlots, but wouldn't name it that. Setting the clan up with a dorm motif to the titles would be kinda cool though, that was one idea I've had. I wonder if we can get whips as part of our clan weaponry heheheh. |

I think Magisterius University is probably the best-fitting name so far . . it can fit into a RP environment, and it sounds cool even if you don't know the fandom. (I really like 2<3: Golem Love an an emotional level, but it just seems a bit too OOC **le sigh**) For the short version, MagiU ? |

He said 'up to', so MU would probobly be best... Maybe even ToMU regardless of what the actual name ends up being. I really like Hearts of Clay, which was the name of Two's group home for Golems. :P It makes us sound so compassionate! XD |
