if that weapon does more than the bare fists would, yeah. If you look at a detailed report it seems sometimes they hit with their empty fist in between hits with the weapon - that would make them only hit with weapons. |

No, I'm pretty certain that whatever weapon configuration you have it randomly determines between using fists or a weapon. This includes if both hands have a weapon. As far as I know equipping two weapons to both hands or either hand will not increase the damage or likelyhood that your golem will attack with the weapon. So if you have a weapon in both hands, it will still use its fists just as much as it did before. likewise, if you put two swords on one hand, you're just wasting a sword. This is one of those things that has been on the "to do" list for awhile but not yet gotten to. |

What it seems to me, through moderate testing is that it ignores duplicate weapons. one weapon seems to fire about 75% of the time, two weapons, at least one of them seems to fire about 93.75%. Duplicate weapons are ignored when calculating this, so two crossbows don't help, but a crossbow and a mask does. |
