I'm new ofcourse, but I have been having some crazy thoughts when it comes to Muelsfell. With research... I thought it would be a neat idea if the items we could make were not only dependant on our knowledge of that field, but also others. An example is like this: We have Materials: Flesh Bone Wood Clay Stone Iron Wood Copper Bronze Brass Admantite Gold/Silver? Glass/Gems? We have general applications: Golem building Armour crafting Power sourses Eyes Clan apps: General Purpose Items/Enviromental Melee Weapons Heavy Armor/Shields Ranged Weapons Alchemy/Transmutaions Spellcraft To gain access to better golems, one would have to research the material as well as golem building. That could lead to armours of various types, as well as different weapons and such. Including that though, the Clan skills would require that the clanner making the goods be knowlegable in the materials required to make them, so making a Iron Sword would require the clan to have a certain level of Melee Weapons skill and the Clanner to have the requisite skills in Iron crafting. But as is the case when I forget to take my medicine, what may be awesome to me, may be not so much to others... Still being able to make Admantine Chainmail or Wooden Swords would be neat, as would the opertunities of Flesh and Iron whips going round. And a Leather overcoat could keep certain weather penalties at bay and serve as light armour... Also having different types of ammunition for ranged weapons would mix things up a fair bit, Bronze Ice Arrows, Copper Flame Bolts and Brass Sonic Shells come to mind... Of course, my main forte is being in possibilities of the future. Also had an odd thought for Clans, could there be another type of Clan which specializes in the Capture, Taming and Breeding of Monsters, as well as the posibility of using said monsters to craft items and Golem Components, or being used to Guard Workshops/Clan Buildings... And posibilities of a method of building/modifing a 'mobile' Workshop, in essence turning your Workshop into a Golem that can slowly move around the map at the cost of Motivation. Or a Clan specializing in Clockwork. Gears and cogs and sprockets, oh my! Clock work golems would be awesome, expensive to maintain, but lowers motivation costs... Or... Or... Or... Or.... Summoning! Dragons, Monsters, Golems with spells of recall! Spells of awesome power! Transmografying Bunny Rabbits crossed with horses! Baboons with pirahna! Tigers with Gerbils! Rattlesnakes with Mongoose! Porkupines with Hippopotami! Death defying! Ressurection of destroyed golems! Healing of damage without materials! Paralysing our foes to be getting a beat down!
