Yeah, Can't trust many people over the internet. Plus Muelsfell doesn't have the type of system that would require a 'bank' as of yet.

The thing is, I could borrow, lets say 20,000 money on another account, get the money on this guy and than never pay 'em back because how's he supposed to know?

*shrug* doesn't seem like such a great idea to me to start a player run moneylender/bank. Internet games are too fickle to support such a thing, I can already see so many problems with this line of work. Besides number one, Scamming.

PS, My alt-Err...Friend wants to borrow 20,000 money. His name is Danielsalternativeaccount

These issues have occurred to us. :) Though matters of security will not be discussed in this thread, the small size of the Muelsfell community, and the fact that only higher leveled characters are in a position to need loans makes us confident that we can spot suspicious borrowing activity early.

And why would we ever keep your money? D: That would be so... dishonest!

I am shocked, offended, and embarrassed by your accusations, Delano, and they are in no way verifiable.

For any doubting Thomas' out there, I deposited funds last week. I made a withdral today and received my funds promptly back.

What I did was I posted a market order - 1 bone for amount of withdrawl - then I emailed both of the princpals and told them it was there. Worked wonderfully.

You said you give out weekly reports on the status of our accounts right?

I've yet to receive a report on that. I hate to nitpick, but I'm one of those people that likes to keep constant tabs on everything.

Sorry for the bureaucratic slowness. :P You're right, we do, but nobody ever expresses an interest. ^^ And it's harder to arrange fund transfers between three accounts. *shrug* We'll see what we can do to make things more efficient.

These type of banking systems do work, and make a community more interesting. (I've seen banks of this sort in Eve Online).

My only question is 'security' as in the highest level hidden room hides about 5k money. I don't suppose there's anything to stop a consortium of 'bank robbers' from trashing your golem, then raiding with naked clays to empty out the resources, including the money.

Do you keep enough 'junk' resources around to slow this sort of thing down? Do you check often enough to be able to trade out guard golems within an hour or so of any attack?

We assure you that we employ some of the most inovative security measures available, to keep your* money safe. Our security measures are understandably confidential, but an attack on our holdings would not currently represent any sort of liability for our patrons.

*This term is debatable.

I've gotten through FatherCoyne's defenses a couple of times and never got more then a few hundred of the primarys so bank robbers won't really be an issue if FatherLatour is like that too

I have to agree with Poseidon. You need to send out statements. You agreed to do so on Mondays. Now it is Thursday and I am still waiting.

Good news, everybody! All of your banking records have been lost. <_< We'll be taking a 'banking holiday' while we sort this out... Except for lleazar. Yours are fine.

In the mean time, if you need any money from your account, we have ballpark figures and can honor most requests.

I would like to take all my money from the accout.

It's only 3.000 but reading earler messages gives this bank a bad reputation...
