laiden, editor of the Muelsfell Tattler you all saw at the forum index, is offering cash out of pocket for writing to the newspaper.
I got $1500 for an editorial on my first few days in the labs that my golem wrote!
Today, I just finished starting an urban legend in the gossip column. Can't wait to see how that turns out.
If you're interested in making money while in character, just click the words Muelsfell Tattler and look for the submit story button. I know, it looks almost exactly like rest of the articles (near top right). Type in a title, then a couple lines of story in the next box, and select category -> gossip. As long as its gossip, it can be as silly as "Yeti marries Troll"

Now as for the "donation," don't worry about it. I never have, and as far as I can tell, donating just moves your story closer to the top of the page its on. The more people write, the less pay we are likely to recieve, but do you really want to risk not being one of the first to submit, when the payout is the very best? Submit first thing Monday! |
