Ok so this is a crazy idea but I'm going to chuck it out there for peeps to think on. What about non combat golems? Lab assistance that are unable to fight but have a level of intelligence. They would be set to do automated tasks. For instance tasks that can assigned at different levels may include: Harvest resource - increase one primary resource production by x percent Repair guard golem, maybe repair 1 damage per 15min. Man work bench - create new golem parts every time assigned resource goes over x amount, could be random or in set order. Man Articifer lab - create armour/eyes etc. when resources become available. Re-build damaged destroyed structures. (But not build new, i think that would be too powerful ) Build clan items (if assigned to clan HQ) These are just a few suggestions, what else could they do? Every thing they did should be at a slower pace than if done by the magi, I think they should be a supplement to work while you are away, not a replacement for your own magi. Also it would probably be better if they were fairly expensive. I think they may detract from the fun of managing your work shop for noobs like me, but I can see that once you're settled into the dirty work of surviving in musfell they could be a great addition. Not sure what would happen to them in a raid. Get damaged? hide in the basement? or could they be kidnapped and ransomed? hehehe :) |

This sounds like an idea. Or how about a 'gadets' library tree? Have things like "watermill" (to help do those repedative tasks faster) or "Golem Go-for" to help you carry more loot back? But only make these things help in a minimal way. (5% increase or some-such) |
