is there any reason too? What do you get if you attatch a level 2 iron arm to a level 1 flesh golem? what do you lose? |

You get a higher hp arm with better resistances. You don't really lose anything, except that you have to use iron to repair it. |

Mismatching is also a way to spread around the damage. And what I mean by that is what resource is used to repair it. By having a golem with iron arms, stone legs, and some oh, let's say wood head, then your demand for a single resource goes down when you need to repair the entire golem. |

Using higher level limbs can also free up capacity to put armor elsewhere, since that limb will have better resistance. Or you can leave the armor off to carry more loot until you can increase the golem's strength. |
