I was thinking about fighting other areas as I was wandering the map waiting for the golem to return, and I hit upon the idea of a tent. The tent would probably be a purchased item and it would be set up via the "Local Area" map. Putting up a tent would allow one to fight from that tent rather than needing to walk all the way to the workshop and back (thus lower motivation and waiting time). However, gotta be some downsides to it. If you're off camping, there is no golem guarding the workshop. There is no room for materials so you can't repair your golem in the tent. As a safety measure, one would not be able to go work the jobs if one is camping. Scares me to death every time I forget to put the guard golem out and go work for hours (here and RL). Anyway, thought I'd toss that out. |

I like this idea. Also, the storage capacity of a tent (more like the carrying capacity of the magus) is much smaller than back home, which will be much more important once magi can switch golems' weapons depending on the monsters encountered. |

I think that might be a goal once the 'Camel flu' leaves the market. After all, Camels can carry lots of weight. Great idea too! |
