It seems that by speaking through the golem through his will instead of an enchanted mouthpiece, the golem is prone to express his chattering thoughts as he interprets them. Sir Rubert is mortified by his own lack of mental discipline and thoroughly apologizes, resolving to improve his mental discipline.
