Tzadkiel said: Oh wait. that other detail. Make sure you have the hacksaw, and can lop off ALL the parts of your golem and put it back together with something more durable. Only the chest needs to be a Homy to still get that name. An Iron5 head will survive combat a lot longer (as I am sure you can imagine) That wont work well for low level mages because it will take ages. The best option is to send your Homunculus into battle against low levels creatures (no higher than level 3). Instead of wasting motivation using the hacksaw, simple don't repair the parts you need and they will eventually get destroy. If you decide to do it this way, both legs will get destroy if the pelvis has been destroy first. Replacing pelvis before the legs is the the only option. The same goes for the arm and hands, replace the arm, then the hand of the golem afterwards, is what you must do. DDLast Edited: Dec 14, 2008, 11:34 pm |

While yes, getting them blasted off is fine - it IS only a day or two of motivation. When you are low level, you have nothing but time. Currently the Maji is spending 6 motivation for 3 xp. The faster that can be turned around into even just 5 xp, the faster it is a profitable trade. The "wasted time" can be made up and surpassed in a day or two. That said, it is fun to see those stitches unravel. Normally, it is a scary thing but when you do it on purpose, it is kinda like Russian roulette. |
