there is a lack of info on golems so far, and i was wondering if you could please post a list of differences between the golems before i invested in a new type what benefits does level 2 give besides hp how is each type different are all the resources the same # amount to build thx also, i think you mentioned that you can combine parts of different golems, if so, what effect does this have? |

Also, i think you should reword the way that you describe "making a new golem". because the way i read it, you had to already have the chest, pelvis, and torso to start one. That or make it so we can use the spare chests ect to start a new golem rather than wasting 5000 clay to make parts i already have. |

wow, i totally got owned by that to. It said to build a torso, we need to build chest, abd, and pelvis. Very very misleading, i just wasted 8400 iron for nothing |

I've changed the wording on the worktable page. Hopefully this will make things clearer. :) I've also removed "spare chests" from the dropdown list as well, since if that's destroyed, the golem is as well. So... there's no need to have spare chests. I'd like to allow folks to construct a golem from just a chest, but there's a big difference code-wise between a chest (which is just another item) and a torso (which is considered a golem). This will take a lot of thought to figure out how I can revamp that. For the differences, try the charts on the help pages [help.muelsfell.com/charts.php]. Notably what's missing is the golem's speed, which is proving to be a pretty important factor (and likely one that will be tweaked to be better for several golem types!). Kep |

i think u should be able to hav a golem outside your workshop while another is away becayse when i go to attack something, some1 could raid my base without fighting and steal my rescources |

@Skidmarkx -that's what happened tonight. While I was getting in some retailliation at posiedon for attacking me earier, you walked in and raided me. Once I noticed I was able to go after you unopposed. Seems balanced to me. (even if you did get more from me then I from you). Just adds another layer of strategy to the game. |

Intentional, actually. :) This is to keep a certain amount of strategy involved. Usually you'll be able to hunt close to home without much risk; the golem returns pretty swiftly. Do you go hunting for experience when you know you have enemies? Do you take a chance and attack the big guy when his golems are away on a mission? Do you attack that guy all the way on the other side of the map knowing that it'll leave your workshop unprotected for awhile? When clans are live, there will be an option for your clan to protect its members workshops with extra golems, so this also encourages people to join clans. how do overall hit points work? i have not figured out what damages the general hit points instead of the hit points of each part i assume at the moment and hit points remaining after destroying a part goes to the pool, but that does not seem to be the case |
