The sanctity of recruitment threads is the only thing that separates us from lower species like cockroaches and Yankees fans.

Contrary to Caduceus' foul lies MAGIER holds no predjudice. We are open to all forms of insects, even cockroaches. I for one welcome our insect brethren!

Yankees fans may also join although they are subject to a brief probationary period followed by a few almost painless sessions with the Inquisition that are NOT BRAINWASHING AT ALL, so come on in!

So thats what all the hot girls at bars have been using on me this whole time.

This just in! Thanks to the non-consensual generosity of a nearby magus I have recently come into possession of a rather large amount of bronze. Thus, as a special promotion, I am offering a free level 1 bronze torso to any magus level 5 and up who joins MAGIER.

This offer includes only the limbless torso, and is only available while supplies last. Join MAGIER and get your new bronze golem today!

Note: If you join, take the golem, and leave, we will hunt you throughout the realm. Forever.

O_o;;; I thought one of the stipulations for this forum was to not have flame wars between clans...but from what I hear, maybe you guys deserve it.

Your clan sounds like the Children of the Light (If you get that reference: congrats you read)

At first I was a little shocked that someone was referencing something literary that I hadn't heard of before, and then I wiki'd it and found out it was from Robert Jordan... yep.

For flaming or criticizing MAGIER there is already a thread available. Please reserve this one for legitimate questions involving future membership or interclan relations.

This is a special promotion because MAGIER is looking for members. We are a solid clan that is looking for more members. Maybe we get flamed a lot by those we attack, but not one member has yet complained about how we conduct ourselves as a clan. I've got this extra bronze that I can't use, so I'm offering up bronze golems as an incentive to join. So if you want to be a part of an awesome clan, and a free bronze golem, join MAGIER!

Yonk, I did my best to stop people from flaming/discussing your tactics in your recruitment thread. Please don't ruin that by throwing out flamebait, thank you.

Tell me this... if I were to join, and began complaining about the Clan's standard behavior and conduct... would I be listened to? Shined on? Exiled? Decried and ostracized? Condemned?

Answer honestly... because the fact is, the measure of a government's quality and ethics is not to be found in how it treats its consenting majority, but in how it treats its dissenting minority.

Yes. Yes you would. We have a nice little public forum, where any member may bring up a motion to pass a new law (such as the Sanctity of Use Tax) or amend an old one, and it is voted upon by our members. You are free to join us and bring up such concerns, and I have sent you an invite to that effect.

We do care what other players, in particular our own clan members think about MAGIER. It's just that the overwhelming majority of players you hear on the forums are the same old people spouting the same old unjustified criticisms. They do this because they wish to attack us, but are utterly unable to do so through any other manner.

You can't complain about people trolling your recruitment thread if you keep throwing out flamebait.

Also, guaranteed attacks per day sufficient to reduce your golems to rubble and your XP to 0.

Fair warning.

I find this odd considering there are fewer active members in MAGIER now than when I started this game...

Which explains our current overabundance of candy, now that all the little'ns have left. ^_^;; Although, thanks to that little issue Endovior has pointed out, only as much as we can keep in our hidden rooms.

Well, that and our 17 no-pvp multis of course. Still, it's a lot of candy. FatherCoyne and I make up exactly half of the known saints in all of Muelsfell.

Oh Endovior, you stay classy now!

Hmm, what is the Angelic Order going to do now that there are other saints in the realm? Seems like it'll be harder to claim your edicts are gods will when there are other saints about to refute the idea...

We're actually pretty thrilled that now there's a third person we can invite to our biweekly holy-book study and water into wine tasting. It was pretty boring with just the two of us, and I have no idea what FatherCoyne did when it was just him alone out in the super secret saints only clubhouse.

I don't particularly want to think about what Coyne did alone with his hand in a super-secret clubhouse.

What has happened to Father Coyne? Did his apology take so much out of him he had to go to a retreat in the hills? Did Ike blow him away? If he's gone, who will I malign?

He's been bothered to death. By me. I liked the part where he stopped moving.

Seriously, he's around on IRC a lot, in the conference room.
