When I started I went the wrong way from what I wanted to go. Is there any way to restart?

How can you go a wrong way?

As far as I see it, there is no wrong way, that cannot be corrected - except for the roleplaying part, when you do things that you did not want to do ...

Maybe he researched the wrong things? If so, don't worry about it, you can un-research things, but you lose all the invested money and I think it takes some time.

Also maybe he did the wrong item quest? If so, no way to undo it, but the second item slot will come up soon enough, so just be patient.

Otherwise, there is no way to "restart" your account other than making a new one. If you want the same name maybe you can delete your current one first? I'm not sure.

It might be that you need a better powersource or eyes.

How much higher level are the monsters you're trying to fight?

A lot depends on what level 2 monsters you are attacking. I think the Rock Squid is closest to you and is kinda tough. other level twos are easier. Try a different hunting area maybe? I know a level 1 flesh can tackle some level 3's without too much problem.

Look for something in the market.
I bought a Voidstone from someone, and I didn't have any more troubles with level 2s
I'd also suggest buying some iron limbs to replace the bone limbs, for better HP and resistances.
Last buy not least, you should consider joining a melee or ranged clan.
having a weapon makes fighting monsters a lot easier.

Do not doubt the effectiveness added by a good pair of eyes, as the accuracy boost is great too.
Starting off, I used my starter for fighting monsters, I usually got a better 'bang' for my attacks by fighting the highest level critter I could, while still keeping my golem alive, the monster dying meant little really, as I just wanted the exp. That exp went into boosting my level so I could attack more, and I loaded more armour on my golem as I got it, so that I had to repair him less.
Also it should be said that melee weapons are a mixed bag at times, as sometimes my golem uses his sword and others his fist.
But the advice to join a clan to help you out is a good one, as some clans do offer to help boost their initiates to levels where they can defend themselves. Ranged weapons are nice as well, as you golem will use them as it closes to fight (premium accounts get the option to hold back and fire more), but those weapons have a fixed rate of fire, and once reached, you can't go past it.
If you need the shinies, there is the voting options which give you 100 shinies a pop, so if you take on tougher enemies that you can't kill, you're not stuck high and dry without an income. Also, one can work for up to 12 hours at a time, and it's another great way to make shinies.
For someone starting off, one can usually buy what one needs off the market as one needs it, as monies are not in huge demand for upgrades.

I haven't tried using ranged weapons, so I can't really say anything about their effectiveness.
But while I do agree that the fact that the golem attacks with his fists instead of his weapon is annoying, melee weapons are still worth using.
The better melee weapons can give over 30% increase in accuracy (when attacking with the weapon, of course), which is a huge help, in addition to raising the damage output.
