Greetings everyone. As the current leading evil magi, I feel it would be a great disappointment to not have a clan based around the evil alignment. So I come to you offering a place in the New World Order (NWO), which will undoubtedly end up being one of the leading powers of muelsfell.

This clan will be pvp based. That goes without saying. We're evil, so obviously that means you'll get your hands dirty working with us. That doesn't mean we go around picking on newbies and breaking old ladies' legs. Being evil doesn't mean we fight below the belt. Of course if you see a workshop with a flesh golem holding a pair of ruby eyes and an alchemical voidstone and your fingers happen to slip on that attack button...we'll likely look the other way for you. But this will not be a group to join if you want to fight orphans in wheelchairs.

Requirements :

-As I'm sure you know by now, you'll need an alignment of at least villainous. No exceptions. Get evil and stay that way.

-The knowledge of some kind of useful trade. Armor, eyes, specialized golems, something like that. As it is still early in the game, you won't need anything too over the top like level 5 adamantine or anything, but clan members will be expected to provide each other with what they can make. Not absolutely free of course, but the most you will be allowed to charge is whatever the costs for creation are.

-Magi level. As this will be a combat based clan, there will eventually be some level requirement for admission. I'm not quite sure what to put this as yet, as the game is still young which gives people time to gain levels. For now, there will be no level requirement but expect this to change in the near future.

-Willingness to attack. The New World Order offers a clan-wide protection system. Later on, this will likely be one of those clans that people instinctively know not to attack unless they want their workshop reduced to a pile of burning rubble, and as such we urge you to handle minor issues on your own. We won't launch a full scale invasion on one magi because he threw a yo mamma insult at you. But if it is becoming a problem for a magi that happens to be someones "Whipping boy", you will be expected to aid in the retribution.

Paths : We will be taking a primary path of spells, and a secondary path of either melee weapons or ranged weapons, depending on majority vote.

Benefits :
-Clan protection system
-Discount trades between members
-Access to the most powerful spells in the game
-A chance to make allies with dark, twisted minds such as your own
-Loot
-Evil cookies
-And by popular demand, Evil coffee (not decaf)

So if you're looking for a seat of power in the realm of Muelsfell, and the Darkest minds to help you pull off your dastardly schemes, or even just some revenge on a elementary school bully, you've come to the right place.

I vote secondary range for 2 reasons. We can locate in a swamp, and (fingers crossed) hopefully there is a spell that reduces speed.

All hail the New World Order!

I like the Idea of making ranged weapons but there is the fact that alot of city's have forest terrain which gives an automatic miss percentage to ranged weapons though wood golems do get to bypass that penalty

I'm in. I was actually about to start an evil-only clan on my own, and it would have been the same primary and possible secondaries. I think ranged would probably work out a little better in the long run.
Would we be in for clan warfare if and when the game supports it?

Count me in for the New World Order. I reckon melee weapons for secondary might be better for two reasons. First is the miss percentage Nageya pointed out and the second is that the freeloading non-premium members (like me) won't have the disadvantage of not having their stance as hang back, which is what the whole ranged strategy relies upon. And I'm sure with our uber spells we'll be able to deal with those pesky flesh rangers heh heh.

Although I wonder what path let's you get the flamethrower.

Since this will be an alignment based clan which dictates that alot of use will be actively pvping we might want to think about how the Clan protection system will deal with provoked attacks

This looks like it'll be a great clan. I just joined yesterday so I'm a newbie but I'm trying to build up my evilness... not really successful yet. But wait and see. I'll be a blood sucking fiend! Haha =-)

You know what you boys forgot? Evil coffee! How can you have a proper evil clan without Evil Coffee?

Now that my alignment has FINALLY drifted past Villainous to Evil, I can officially say "I wanna join!" I can even bring the Evil Coffee.

Yes, I subscribe to the "Pink Heart" school of Evil. :)

Oh yeah, and I think I'm gonna specialize in wood and clay golems. A few more trees and I should be able to grow 3rd level woodies.

Is it irradiated , cause you know just being decaf doesn't make it evil.

I think the decaf goes a good long way. But it's mostly the tears of the bean growers on their third world plantations.

Decaf? C'mon, I'm Evil, not Heartless.... But it does come standard with rat poison and its own Muzak. Just don't leave your spoon in it too long.

So after a lot of thinking, I've opted for us to second ranged weapons. This is not in stone, so if you have a decent argument of why we should go something else, please tell me (either here or in pm, preferably here as then everyone will have a say) and I'll certainly consider it.
