So just something I was musing over - What happens after spells? It seems like a number of clans are at levels where they need more clan items, so more of those will likely appear, along with a number of minor improvements, but what's the NEXT BIG THING? And also, what happens when people start getting up around level 100? I know it's probably a ways off, but a few are approaching 50 now, and it's only a matter of time. I personally have to work to maintain enough resources to repair my golem while using up motivation, what happens when I have twice as much motivation to use? Start throwing my adamantine golem at things just to use up motivation faster? New levels of resourses? Thoughts folks?

Well seeing as a rough calculation of the time requirements of leveling put a rough time to level 100 from level 50 at about 521 DAYS, or 1.4 years...
I'd say there's time to work.

For those that want to know, the above was derived by the 10 exp/6 motivation formula for optimal, individual leveling. (Homonculus versus a level 5 nearby)
One could probably breach that by using mule accounts to PVP level via a proxy IP server.
But that's the basest of cheating.

Ah, but only 416 and 312 days for 150 and 200, so in 3 years (+/-) people will be level 200. Never too soon to start planning! :)

The market will probably be next. Ark keeps mentioning that he wants to update that. And with that or right on its heels an item update introducing personal items, tradeable items, new clan items, etc. And after that a big clan update with the clan businesses and clan combat stuff.

That's my best guess from what Ark's said in the past and how things seem to be going. Could be entirely wrong though.

Don't forget about fishing...
And the camels...

A bit of UI work would be nice too, Especially in Item transfers. Being able to do bulk transfers would be nice, especially when you're sending 20 pairs of legs.

There's a long list of minor and medium-sized updates I'd like to do after spells.

* Market revamp
* A family system (last names, new ranks)
* Clan-based job system
* Clan-based medals/award system
* Larger local map for Prems
* Art for all the current creatures
* More customization options

[edit] - Almost forgot:
* Garden system (growing crops)
* Stockyard (raising animals)
* Fishing system

And of course plenty of little bugs and typos to catch up on.

I'm also pondering replacing my forum code with something a little nicer, like vBulletin, but I'm not sure how much of a PITA that will be to integrate into Muelsfell.

There's no shortage on the to-do list. It's just temporarily frozen while I finish spells.

How about more armor and eyes? Personal libraries able to research some basic tools and weapons?

Sure I've mentioned that before... *hope hope*

I'm way eager for families, jobs, real clan wars, gardens, stockyards, fishing, and camels.
