Has anyone bothered upgrading any of their golem's strength up enough to increase their damage bonus? I'm thinking of increasing my bone golem's damage in this way and was just wondering if it was worth the xp investment. So does it make any noticeable difference to combat? |

Each attack will do one more damage, so... A bone golem will hit 10-30 times a combat, or so. So, I guess it would be 10-30 extra damage, potentially, for 375 XP. ... |

There is also the bonus of being able to carry more loot. |

Woo, 5lbs more loot. XP He hasn't really made Strength worth it for carrying stuff... Or in general maybe. |

So it's not just 25 XP for the first damage bonus, you have to pay for 5 levels before you get it? |

That's the case. And that's only with the bone golem, ten for all the others, you know. :-\ He mentioned reducing the cost of increasing strength before, around the same time he was playing with golem size, but he's putting it off, I guess. |

Has it occured to anyone else that the larger golems (Lvl 3-4, and Lvl 5) should be stronger than their Lvl 1-2 counterparts? In all reality it makes sense that a Medium sized creature is going to be stronger (thus able to carry more weight, and do more damage) than a Small sized creature. The same is also true for Large sized creatures against the Medium sized creatures.Last Edited: May 12, 2008, 4:10 pm |

Why, yes, it has occurred to us. ^^ In fact, that was suggested within the first month of Beta. But you know, it was a good idea then, and it bears resuggesting. Last Edited: May 12, 2008, 4:24 pm |
