for those that just earned there three days of free membership do they get it back or are they screwed because the server will be down friday.

You get screwed and then get 75 premium tickets and 2500 gold and a special weapon when the game drops out of beta at the end of the month.

I believe timers get suspended while the server is down. If I remember correctly this question has been asked before, could be wrong. You would have to go digging through the forums to check.

No timers -- not building or item queues, marketplace offers, prem time, spell effects, etc -- are suspended, as they're all timestamp based.

Shouldn't be an issue for today since the game will only be down for 30-45 minutes, assuming all goes well. :)

Why'd you have to go and do that?! Now that you've said "assuming all goes well" it won't, the game will probably be down for weeks, and most likely set off a chain reaction that will destroy the entire internet within a month!
