I’m calling all the magi of muelsfell to help with an urgent threat that i have just become aware of, through divining the stars. apparently my sources tell me that there is a greater threat to muelsfell than the bonewalkers in the Necopolis. this threat i'm talking about is perhaps one of the oldest creatures known to us magi and is only spoken of in ledgens. The ledgen that I speak of is none other than the Meteor dragon. There has only been two sightings of them in the past and on both occasions I know that good and evil alike had to band together and call apon anjelic and demonic help alike to defeat this foe. These gargantuancreatures come from space. They are stronger than the strongest adamantine golems that we know of and are capable of destroying the entire relm with one attack. So please all the magi good and evil alike please band together and help save the relm! I have already started preparing the ritual of sanctus espiritus to call forth the most powerful anjelic beings on the outer planes. I am also currently preparing for the ritual of consicration to call forth the living saints, but as you know I need at least five other magi to help in the ritual. Any volunteers would be gladly accepted.[any level magus can volunteer for this task] they will be shown by a higher level magus who knows how to do the ritual in what needs to be done. Thank you all again and I hope that you will help in this diar cause. Malakor |

"Meteor... dragons?" Are they going to attack, or just crash into us? Let me be the first to point out that cooperating with demons is a bad idea. Simply put, if power is proportial to purity, then mixing alignments actually negates any potential powers, like an acid and a base producing salt water. I'm going to ask what "motivates" the dragons to arrive now, and suggest we take appropriate action. |

what motivates the dragons is simple. the presence of any magi on a planet or world. these dragons are inately magical them selves but hate the idea that we humans have the right or in fact power to wield such abilities. they rome space looking for the presence of magic and iradicating it as such if it is not dragon related. the only way i can see us having a chance to defeat them is if we unite and call apon angels and demons alike. |

Its sounds like we can avert this threat just by making the upper magicosphere appear draconic. I believe Magisterius University has a building devoted to half-dragon study (if not the study of half-dragons) thanks to some fan fiction. I will speak with Blessed Yamikuronue about this while she is in the clan hall. Meanwhile trying to get pure dragon out of fire drakes is a bit like trying to get the golden chocobo, so I'll be looking for a differnt approach.Last Edited: Dec 8, 2008, 9:39 pm |

Elsewhere, exhausted, Yamiko receives a forwarded piece of mail from her old address. Biting her lip, trying not to think too hard about her failed relationship, she opens the letter. Incredulous laughter slowly gives way to tears. Yamiko manages to pull herself together, taking the letter to Kaelas. This is his job now. Even if she wanted it, she wasn't ready to deal with shit of this magnitude. |

We of MU have looked into this threat and found it lacking in substance. And the argument 'better safe than sorry' is rather... insufficient when you condsider what it is you ask. Asking for the lowest of the citizens of the upper and lower planes to come and give of their knowlegde is a relatively simple thing, albeit sometimes dangerous. Asking the greatest of them to gather, alongside their greates of enemies no less, is quite another. We'd advise maintaining your distance from this matter entirely, that your reputation is not tainted more than can be salvaged. |

The hostile words in said missive were the reason I originally took my vow of silence, and as it seems I cannot be cured, I hereby bequeath all the resources of my workshop to the people of mueslfell. Pillage at your leisure. I am sorry. Goodbye. |

Well, I for one think the potential danger of the dragon is worth a bit of risk to counter. And after all, what's the worst that can happen bringing the most powerful of good and evil together in one place? |
