Does anyone know what effects how much you can loot from a monster? I know it varies depending on the monster and the monster's level, but as far as your golem goes, what changes it? It doesn't seem to be entirely carry weight, as my glass with 17 pounds free could carry pretty much the same amount as my friend's bone with 60ish free. It also doesn't seem to be entirely the % of capacity used, since numbers still don't seem to sink up quite right.. Does it depend on slots? Strength? All of the above? I can't seem to figure it out. |

It is the carrying capacity. I'd armored up my flesh farmer, and the amount of stuff dropped a LOT. Take the armor off and he gets a lot more stuff from the same monster. |

Armor does reduce loot, yes. But it seems to reduce it independent of carry weight. My glass with armor only on the chest, leaving 17 pounds free looted around 100-120 from the bog mummy. My friend's bone golem with armor everywhere, leaving about 60 pounds free looted about the same, and my clay golem, with armor everywhere and around 300 pounds free looted around 160-180, and with less armor I believe looted more. So the clay shows 100-120 isn't it's max loot, but bone has 60 pounds vs glass' 17, and they're still getting roughly equal. So it seems like there's more to it than that. |

I camp the bog mummy because my clay golem heals so I generally am at a zero repair cost in there. That's just the variable loot for the bog mummy. With a heavily armored clay, I get between 100-200 with a fair amount of secondary treasure. |

Huh, weird, my clay got a much smaller variation(don't use it anymore because of prohibitive motivation costs). But the loot with glass and flesh is consistantly 100-120. Bone I'm not sure since I don't have one and my friend is a bit far away to attack it a lot. But flesh has twice the carry weight glass did, so it's still odd that loot is so similar. |

I don't think you'll notice a lot of difference on creatures, but if you knock someone's golem down and raid their workshop with a low cap golem, then strip all the armor off (or switch to a unarmored clay) and raid again, you'll notice a huge difference in what you can loot. This is all depending on whether they actually *have* stuff to loot of course. |

Yeah, the thing is there is a difference with monsters though. I think, even with a huge carrying capacity like clay has, putting armor on will reduce how much you get pretty much regardless of the max, which is why it confuses me. I don't know if it's just unused slots increase it or what, but it definitely seems to vary beyond simply how much weight you have free. |

From the armor description in the artificer lab: Armour improves a location by increasing its resistance to damage. It is often made from iron and uses location slots just as any item, but it also takes up a lot of space that a golem could use for hauling loot. |
