As a clan officer - I have two clear obstacles while managing our Depot.

#1, can I have some ability to see more than 10 golems at a time - or some additional sort options, such as alphabetical, or unassigned iron...

#2, Can I please repair clan golems from the Depot screen, and use Clan resources to do it?

#2B - the obvious addition and subtraction of armor, weapons, etc without the three card monte of assigning the golem to myself, making the change, adn sending it back to the depot. I understand this is challenging due to the distinction between MY armor and armor the can owns (which doesn't exist unless you have an armor specialization) -- but can I at least SEE what is equipped on the bugger beyond Eyes and Powersource?

As for number 1 - The simple fix is to have less members. :p
Seriously though, unassigned golems would be a nice sort feature.

Number 2 - You mean a pull down selection (or something) other than clicking on the golem name and being taken to the golem page (which then pulls from Clan resources...)?

Number 2B - Again, seperate from the golem page? That might take up a lot of room, depending on how much armor is on. Potentially five pieces of armour per each of ten golem parts might take up a lot of display space.

Interesting idea though. Maybe once Kep implements where SM's can assign roles at will?

I agree with the proposed changes...even at level 1 depot, managing golems can be difficult. If admins have any questions I would be willing to mock up these ideas and email them.
Concerning 2 and 2B, changing the existing interface could allow for more options to be displayed at once. The main player workshop shows an icon for a golem type, as well as a golem health bar. However, the clan depot shows an anatomical overview of each golem. This makes each golem take up a large amount of room. If the deopt's interface were changed to use the health bar, space would be saved and a "repair all" button could be added easily. Indicators such as "armor equipped: 5" could be added as well, preventing players from being forced to go straight to the golem page or using shift+click to open a new window to identify a golem.
Alternatively something like Ajax could be used to add an expand/shrink button, allowing users to view a golem's details without going to another page. This would not eliminate mouse clicks, but would help users avoid getting lost in a sea of golems.
Managing a golem's equipment on the depot page would be convenient, and the best space saving idea I can come up with is to simply add a drop down menu that would list all of a golem's possessions. Beside the drop down menu would be a "remove" button. Another drop down menu could be inserted displaying items in the clan armory and owned by the player, with an "attach" button next to this menu. Players could quickly strip and equip a golem from a single page.

It would also be nice to be able to sort your member list by active/inactive, or by when they were recently active, so as not to have to go through and click every name to find out when they were last online. Or even another field, next to join date, showing last active date would be awesome.

I hate sorting through memebers to weed out the inactive! definatly second Laidan's Idea and any thing to make the depot easier to manage would also be a huge bonus.

I dont have an issue managing clan golems......

Of course my clan only has 2 people, and no golems.... and well yeah. ;)

That being said I support the ideas in this thread.

Ditto with what Xlrate was saying.

I know back in Long Arms clan golem management was a headache for the big guys. It was a chore, it was tedious and it couldn't be given to a low level member.

Clans are such an important part of Muelsfell. To make them easy to administrate would be sensible.

From what I hear a "repair all (including crits)" Button (checkbox?), and drawing the repairs from the clan materials would take out the majority of the tedious tasks.

For starters, memberlist should now show inactive players in grey, and shows their last active time colourcoded. A month or more is red, a week or more is orange, five days or more is yellow, and less than that is green.

Working on the other things as well as the ticket item wipe thinger, too.

Depot now shows up to 20 golems, and you can sort alphabetically or by unassigned.

Also shows a list of items on each golem (click to show, click to hide).

Added a buildings link to the clan page make it a little easier to get to the depot, warehouse, etc, too.

Repair All from clan will be installed next.

There are some strange things happening in the Depot display now.

We have 44 golems. The first page displays 21 golems. Next 20 gives me just that same 21st. The Next 20 from this gives me nothing. We have over 21 or one type, so some assigned ones can't be seen at all.

Confirmed, it's certainly displaying 21 and behaving quite strangely...

Woops, forgot that it should be start + limit, not limit. Should be fixed now.

And now you can repair them from the depot.

Was mostly a case of adding a button on the clan page, but I had some changes in the golem repair mechs I had to back out first (they're not ready to go live yet).
