Some changes have been made to improve the forums.

1) The sidebar is by default no longer used on the forums. This allows the forums to stretch the full width available, which should in turn make reading easier. Premium members have the option of turning the sidebar back on for the forums. You'll find this option under "General Display Settings" on the profile page.

2) The forums can now be read even if you're not logged in, but you will not be able to post or mark threads read if you're not logged in.

3) Use ': goldstar :' (without spaces or quotes) to show a "Gold Star!" image in your post. This is a teaser for an upcoming awards system:

4) Excessively long words (specifically very long URLs) should now automatically word wrap themselves while preserving the URL. Previously these sent the forum off one side, which was ugly looking.

[Edit] - 5) Oh, and the text box for new posts is a little large, which should hopefully make it a bit easier to write new posts.
