It'd be nice to be able to invite someone still in a clan - a standing invitation so they can put their affairs in order and then go to your clan at your leisure and not have to wait for someone to be online to invite you. I know some people bounce in and out of clans to test things and end up getting stranded, sometimes overnight, because everyone's offline.

I like the idea of a Whitelist, and maybe a Blacklist for open clans. Whitelist would allow anyone on it to come and go as they please, possibly with a set rank and permissions, blacklist would be like exile, without the requirement of the person ever having joined the clan.
