i'm guessing the "combat" portion of the dialogue is your managers? (my sister has much the same problem....x6) so far i haven't had this issue in game (could have something to do with not attacking anyone...) |

Sadly, you've captured it in one. Ahh. Management. Can't do anything with 'em, but they don't let you work without 'em. :) Although to be fair, if they know what they are doing (as opposed to acting like they know what they are doing) a good management team is a great boon. |

SO... did Arkham ever actually rule on multi-accounts joining different clans? I thought it was still allowed, with multis showing up as possible spies... But someone recently could not join my account and thought it was because his other account was in a different clan. Now that seems plausible, but weird as Arkham said he was considering allowing clan joining... |

I'm blocking joining/creating a clan if an account appears to be a multi to the system AND the other account is already in a clan. If neither account is in a clan, it'll let you join/create (or should; report any problems on this). Recently I also quietly put in a Premium bypass on this. If the joining person is a Premium, it'll allow it even if there appears to be another related account already in a clan. Premium status does not negate the "possible spy" alert. I was resisting putting in a Premium bypass for this, but the system was being overzealous in certain specific cases. Kep |

According to Kep's posts, If y'all are both premium, you can still do it. And since my son runs a Clan I'm not a member of, I'm fairly sure it works. :) |

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I have been running into issues with attacking the same magi as other players at my workplace - there are 5 of us that play both from work and from home. The error is: Sorry, but an account that appears to be related to yours has attacked that magus within the past week. Since it is possible that some people play from the same location (roommates, family members, etc), Muelsfell allows this sort of cooperation between related accounts only if both are Premium Members. We didn't have any problems joining the same clan, and we have been able to trade/transfer goods without errors. We all have Premium accounts, so from what I read above, this shouldn't be an issue, right? Thanks! :), MdV edited to add error message text.Last Edited: Jun 25, 2009, 7:08 pm |
