Tzadkiel's ClayPen Tzadkiel parks her wagon on the corner of the market street and jumps down from the driver's bench with a cloud of dust eddying behind the swirl of her sarong. Both hands quickly tying up her hair as she strides towards the stall - nails held in her teeth - while a young apprentice trails behind her with a sign to hang. The sign simply states "Tzadkiel's ClayPen - Golems for Sale" Simple green letters -- but the picture underneath catches the eye quickly.. Beautiful, perfect seamless human replicas without any of the ugliness of stitched flesh, the macabre stench of bone, or the rough masculinity of either stone or iron. Sculpted Clay Golems -- exquisite in their detail and brutal in their strength. Tzadkiel dusts off the stall and purses her lips as she considers the neighborhood and the unseemly characters loitering near the bone and stone stalls. Adara struggles to carry the limbs to the table as onlookers note that there are larger than average parts available. Clearly someone wants to do one thing, and do one thing well. You overhear a lanky Magi from the swamps negotiating with Tzadkiel and it would appear that her artisan roots run true. "commission" and "negotiate" are repeated several times between hushed tones and the clink of coin. 2,000 GP L1 Clay Golem - 19,000 Clay 3,500 GP L2 Clay Golem - 35,000 Clay 5,000 GP - L3 Clay Golem (Reach!) - 53,250 Clay. Heals 15 points per part in the swamps after every combat! Level 3 parts - 750 GP L3 head ~ 52 HP & 4 slots! L3 Arm ~ 52 HP L3 Hand ~ 35 HP L3 Leg ~ 61 HP ~edit~ Walking slowly up to the stall, threadbare and caked in mud, Tzadkiel dips a brush into a pot of paint. In cramped but flowing letters on the edge of the sign, it declares "Level 4 Now Available, inquire within" ~edit~ Tzadkiel's apprentice Adara begins loading parcels back onto a wagon and strapping them down. Once complete, she dusts her skirts, pulls back her hair and climbs the edge of the wagon. With a bucket and a scrub brush, the clears the sign on the stall, tacking a small note in its place. Those who look closely and read what is written in a neat, compact hand. "Level 5 now available. Special orders only". After tacking the note, Adara flicks the mules and the cart trudges down the alley.Last Edited: Jun 11, 2008, 7:52 pm |

Twining the ends of her high ponytail in her fingers, Adara looks exceedingly bored. There is a look of bitter defeat that is unique but prevalent to all teenagers forced into a family business, yet only having enough responsibility to run the abacus. With a grumbling stomach, she wonders why she couldn't have been apprenticed to a Baker. |

"Clay Golem did 102 dmg while a grey swamp ogre did 63 dmg. The wet, marshy ground allows your Clay Golem to recover 20 damage to its right leg, pelvis, chest, left leg and left arm. You earned 3 xp. Looted: You found 130 gold coins, 57 bars of gold and 44 nuggets of adamantine on its body." -- as a result of regeneration, Golem walks away undamaged-- |
