I have the level 3 Animal Pen, but I don't seem to be able to construct a Level 2 Fleshgolem.

Are the Charts incorrect, or do I miss something else?

You have to research them in the Library before you can build them. Now that you have the Pen 3, you can research Flesh 2, and you can see the other requirements (flesh, bone, gold) to research it.

Thanks for the info - but that's what I mean with the missing info in the chart: there is nowhere written, that I need a library for the level 2 fleshgolem.

Well, the chart is labeled 'Research'. You do your research in your Library, which you started with. And it's true, flesh golems don't have a library requirement... But everybody has a library anyway, so that's where we put the menu for researching things. ^^
