Looked through the forum and didn't notice this one... I log in before the 24 hour period of summon rat is up and the spell has ended although I have not been attacked. Either the spell is ending prematurely, attacks don't generate messages, or I'm missing something.

I just experienced this one. I was attacked earlier today, with the last attack occuring at 15:27 server time. Sometime between then and now (16:49 server time), I cast Summon Rat Swarm. I have NOT been attacked since casting, and the clock on the spell says that I have 11 hr 13 min 46 sec. Since the spell should last 1 day if no one attacks, this is definitely incorrect. This MAY have something to do with me repairing my wall.

No, nothing to do with walls. I cast summon rat swarm. I look back at my workshop, I had an hour and change left. I was attacked by Sconibulus, I had 44 minutes remaining. I looked again and it was gone. What is this? Definitely not working right.

I believe it's the same bug as here [www.muelsfell.com/world/map_community.php]

That bug was fixed for the granite wall, in theory, but apparently not for summoned creatures. Sconi just proved it.

This was posted back in my bug report plethora, apparently impatience pays off, if you try to attack someone whose workshop your golem is trying to come back from, it counts as a hit for the wall or rat spells. This is a slight fix from the previous case, where if your golem was coming back from anywhere it counted as a hit. At least now you're locked into one target.

I'm looking into the duration of both the summon and wall spells. The way the plug into combat may be changed to make it a little less dicey.

Kep, this bug also occurs if you have a golem outside, but not enough motivation to attack. Verified it tonight, just a handful of minutes ago if you need to find it in the logs.

It seems to occur with spells with multiple shots, as well as single shot spells. I know I've had several summoned forest rats mysteriously disappear with no log of the event on my side, and clearly less than 24 hours gone past.
