For some reason, monsters will randomly be using whatever weapon you're using for a few rounds. This really sucks as you can really get a beating this way. The first time it happened I thought it was just a weird glitch but it happened to me twice more. Check the combat report:
[Round 1] Your Flesh Golem begins to advance upon a kobold nightshade while a kobold nightshade begins to aggressively advance upon your Flesh Golem. Both combatants are out of range with about 34 feet between them.
[Round 2] Your Flesh Golem continues to advance upon a kobold nightshade while a kobold nightshade closes to melee with your Flesh Golem.
Your Flesh Golem attacks with its reinforced nunchuku and misses 3 times, failing to hit at all.
A kobold nightshade attacks with its fists and misses 10 times, but also hits the left arm (3 dmg), the chest (3 dmg), the left arm (3 dmg), the abdomen (3 dmg), the chest (3 dmg), the chest (3 dmg), the chest (3 dmg) and the pelvis (3 dmg).
[Round 3] Your Flesh Golem attacks with its reinforced nunchuku and misses 3 times, failing to hit at all.
[Round 4] Your Flesh Golem attacks with its reinforced nunchuku and misses 4 times, failing to hit at all.
A kobold nightshade attacks with its reinforced nunchuku and hits once on the pelvis (11 dmg).
[Round 5] Your Flesh Golem attacks with its reinforced nunchuku and misses 2 times, but also hits once on the chest (12 dmg).
[Round 6]
A kobold nightshade attacks with its reinforced nunchuku and hits once on the left arm (13 dmg).
[Round 7] Your Flesh Golem attacks with its reinforced nunchuku and misses once, failing to hit at all.
[Round 8]
A kobold nightshade attacks with its fists and misses once, failing to hit at all.
[Round 9] Your Flesh Golem attacks with its reinforced nunchuku and misses once, failing to hit at all.
A kobold nightshade attacks with its fists and hits once on the head (3 dmg).
[Round 10] A kobold nightshade attacks with its fists and misses once, failing to hit at all. |

| Kobold Archer uses a crossbow and Kobold Nightshade uses nunchuks. Not sure whether it is good or bad that monsters don't have a preference to use weapons instead of fists... |

| What, are you serious? Because I haven't seen them use anything but fists until today, and I've been fighting them for about a week. |

| Yeah, I remember fighting him a month or two ago and he was using it sometimes then too. It gives you a taste of what the weapon can do if you plan on fighting against it or if you plan on using it. |

| Yeah, the nightshade uses nunchucks every so often. You just got lucky for a while. When I convert to full time PvE, I do about 15 hits agains that mob a day, and it uses a weapon maybe 2 rounds out of every 3 combats for me. |
