I've meticulously gone, area by area, and killed every monster therein for this achievement. When I'd finished, I checked the progress bar. 81 of 82. Blast, must have missed one!

So I did it all again, this time progressing in order of area number instead of left-to-right, up-to-down the map. Still 81 of 82.

Are there even 82 monsters? So I counted each and every one, and they add up to . . . 82. Drat!

So I don't know if there's really a bug, or if I was just colossally careless. Twice. Is there some way you can check that for me, and if so, could you please?

Just Checked and there are indeed 82 monsters. Course that means that Kep and in turn you counted correctly. That also means that I have no idea what monster you missed.

Took me a while to dig through all the papers in my office to find a copy of Tzadkiel's old map. Most areas seem to have 3 mobs, then there are some areas that have 2 or 4.

I have a similar problem:

I killed every creature except the Minor Firedrake in Harperdale and the Profile showed:
"The World is My Zoo
Kill one of each currently live creature in the game.
Progress: 81 of 82"

After killing the Firedrake the Profile did not update.

I had the Proflie open. Can that be the reason?

Edit: it updated roughly an hour later ...

I too have the same problem.

I know that I have not defeated the "Runic Bonewalker" and the "Clockwork Elephant"

I still only have 78/82 kills though. I have gone through the whole map twice and I am prepared to do it again.

I would however like it if I could be directed to what I am missing or at least a hint of what I need. I only need two more and I will complete my 10th achievement. Thank you so much for your help.

Have you thought of maybe doing some practice first, before you try to finish that acomplishment?

Practice what, sir?

Oh and I am now sitting at 80/82 since I have killed the "Runic Bonewalker" nice bit o'addy and the "Clockwork Elephant" which has Silver.

So if anyone can tell me the two that I am missing that would be really great if not I guess I am going hunting again.

It took me at least twice through to get the last one when I was doing this accomplishment. I ended up using the Notes premium feature to write down everything. It gets confusing if you don't write them down... Maybe that will help? I do know it's possible to get them all.

Keeping track is essential. I did this on my first pass, but I wasn't premium, so didn't have access to the notes pages.

As an alternate, I divided my hunting by province, and hit the 5-6 hunting areas in that province sequentially, to the point of waiting to start new areas the next day, but always finishing one off before moving on. and never attacking areas in a new provice until I was sure I had finished all of the old ones off.

It took me a while, as being in one corner of the map and a standard player meant some LONG return times (almost 18 minutes on some), but targeting in little chunks like this seemed to help. I also never attacked a new Province without full mot, so if I finished one off, I would just kill the local prey until the next day.

Could be wrong, but I think Pegga was trying to hint that you should try killing the practice dummy. Sometimes it counts for the tally, we still haven't figured out the why and when of it, though.

Well then, I guess you're going to go to Round 2.

You might try hitting ares with only two creatures as maybe you skipped that area and it is the missing duo.

But this time, write down the area and a check mark for each kill.

Well I am on Round 3 and I have gone through the whole map and copy pasted the Area's and their Creatures. OMG, there are 82! The Practice Dummy no longer counts.

One of the creatures that I was missing was "The Grey Swamp Ogre Level 7" in "The Zaulfung" where there are 4 creatures total. Guess I just missed that one; however I did kill all four just to make sure, alas I just missed that one.

I am now 81/82 and still hunting.

Thank you everyone for your tips and thoughts.

It had already been confirmed that there really are 82 monsters spread across the map. I think the issues are often that when you are working through one monster after another, you accidentally skip over a monster somewhere in the middle. Or you fail to kill one that you attack, without realizing. The latter happens less with a strong/boosted golem with a weapon and good power source, but it can still happen due to bad luck.

Thanks everyone for your help!!

Congratulations! You've gained the "The World is My Zoo" achievement!

This is what you did: Kill one of each currently live creature in the game.

Yay! Did you ever figure out exactly what other creature you were missing? Or just the full round to be sure. :)

The World is My Zoo
Kill one of each currently live creature in the game.
Progress: 72 of 83 (missing a redcap)

Not sure if it just shows one of the ones I'm missing, but I remember only missing one or two of them and not 10.

According to Kep, the achievement now shows the lowest level monster that you have not killed. As for the number you are missing...who knows.

I doublechecked, and it does some correct in how many you're missing btw. So far as I can tell, everything is correct.

Let me know if the monster name indication helps. I couldn't list all the critters in that little box, but hopefully "lowest level one you haven't killed yet" should be enough to at least work through one at a time.

Currently "The World is My Zoo" reads: "Kill one of each currently live non-unique creature of level 12 or less."

At 120/129 I'm missing a sand dragon which is level 13.

EDIT: After the sand dragon and platygon hatchling I'm still stuck at 120/129 displayed (though the next creature seems to be correct).
