Instead of sulking about not being able to play with clans yet, I'll be a bit more productive and throw out some suggestions for objects that could be available once clans do come on-line. Mainly, this is a big ol' brainstorming session for Anything That Could Be Installed Onto Golems-- anything that could conceivably fall under the Melee, Ranged, Defense, and Items clan paths. Leather Armor Chainmail Armor Wooden/Iron Shields Boots of Speed Gauntlets of Strength Rings of Fire/Cold/Sonic/All Protection that grant resistances to all parts of the golem ...or maybe it would be easier to, say, go to d20srd.org, and adapt what you can under the Open Gaming License. Regarding object qualities: will objects be created using a modular approach (akin to in Diablo)? Essentially, any type of object (armor, shield, weapon, ring, etc.) can be given a wide range of enhancements (+damage, +accuracy, +resistance, +speed, +strength, etc.) of varying power, and any enhancement can be applied to a wide range of objects. It would make for a much, much more diverse set of potential objects in the world. If that's the case, it may be more fruitful to brainstorm what kind of effects could be applied to objects. |

I really want there to be a 1/5 hammer. That is to say, a hammer that weighs 400 lbs (A fifth of a short ton). |

I'll be pretty disappointed if the item class doesn't get an explosive vest they can strap to their fleshies. :P And maybe some mining equipment for tunneling under walls. And snow shoes! Maybe we can also get some toe knives, and spiky shoulder pads? For the more grungy melee fighters, y'know. And EYE LAZERS! =D |

Cloak of Stealth - Attackers are unable to scope your defensive golem Prismatic Armour - Provides random elemental defense bonus (attacker can no longer match his golem to your weakness, unless he's feeling lucky.) Regenerative Mulch - installed in wood golems to provide damage regen Black Rot Poison - Horrible enzyme researchable by evil magi. Extra effective against organic golems (flesh,bone,wood) and organic creatures. Useful for persecuting the weak, but has lasting effect over time against all types of golems. Truth Runes - Words of power researchable by virtuous magi, and inscribed on weapons. Disrupts animating force to cause damage to all golems and immense damage to undead creatures. |

Spiked armor- does a small amount of damage to the hands of anything attacking your golem, unless they have a weapon. |
