Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. If you believe in the principle of Equivalent Exchange, if you believe in the Philosopher's Stone and that the power to change the worlds resides in the ability to change the materials that surround you... Join me, The Alchemist of Bone, in the State Alchemists and explore the wonders of this universe through Alchemy... Alchemy requires a dedication that goes beyond alignment and a willingness to consider the impossible possible... |

If you are a member of a clan with a Primary Specialization in Alchemy, you are able to transmute the components of this golem into other types. Transmutation does not require basic resources, but does cost a significant amount of gemstones per location as well as motivation. You can not partially transmute a golem -- you must transmute all components of the same type at once. The transmutation can also be applied to resources. -----------edit------------ I now have an iron homonculus... :D Speed, damage and resists as iron... Last Edited: May 25, 2008, 2:29 am |

Not yet... I imagine that will come with upgrading the library... Which will take a while to complete as all Clan buildings require multiple 100+K primary resources to upgrade... E |

I transmuted my flesh golem to iron, but it looks like I kept the same hit points as the former flesh pieces. Is this a bug or a feature? I'd expect an iron head to have an iron head's hit points. |

That would be a real trick if you could transform AND replicate all in one easy step! ...resisting... ...GAH!... CALL NOW! Our operators are standing by! AND! If you call in the next fifteen minutes, we'll throw in a 16oz bottle of Golem Polish, FOR FREE!!!! |

Colored golem polish. So it looks like it's made from something other than what it is...at least until you chip off some paint in a fight. |

If you are interested in Alchemy I would suggest a joining of forces, for that will ensure a swifter path to the high levels of transmutation... E |
