Darghelm, in the Foothills of Ulvania
The hardy people of Ulvania value family bonds and friends over all else, so Darghelm has developed an extensive network of taverns, cozy inns, and messaging systems. They are not a cowardly nor xenophobic people and so allow people from all over the continent to use their taverns and speakeasy establishments.

So i've been playing for awhile and i've noticed another thing. I like this game but I don't get to use all my motivation due to time constraints. I only have a few minutes here and there to play through out the day and I figure you put the time constraints in for a reason(although it eludes me right now) since my other suggestions met with rabid responses i'll phrase this differently.

Why did you put a time constraint on motivation use?

Would you consider a trial run of a lower time constraint?

Well, one thing you can do now is to use the farms. That'll burn up quite a bit of mot. Then there's the missions that you can do. That'll burn up some, but little benefit in ways of resources. Attacking things closer to your workshop will also make the mot go faster.

A while ago I think Arkham responded positively to removing the time constraint on PvE attacks... I forget which thread that was in, though. Anyway, I agree, I think for people who want to play this casually, they should be able to do the PvE attacks quickly. I would keep or even raise the time cost for PvP though.

I'd still like to hear from the developers on this.

*side note

I totally agree with the time constraint on PvP

The delay when hunting creatures is solely so that other magus have a small window of opportunity to raid without being stopped by a guardian golem.

It also encourages folks to fight close to home. I'm hoping that the players in various towns evolve their own identities as far as potential resources and monster opportunities are concerned.

PS - There is only one developer for Muelsfell (me), which is why updates can take some time. ;)

I've noticed the open 'window of opportunity' while returning before. I know I've been hit that way at least twice. Have to say though, It hasn't had me stay any closer to home yet. :) But then all the upper level monsters aren't very near to me, with the exception of the giant - definately not ready for him yet.

Perhaps with the wagon(or a separate purchasable) You could put the "fight again" button back, and allow people to fight several times in the same area, so there's still that window of opportunity, but it takes less time.

I fight far away(no level 4s near me) but with premium cutting time it still takes me about an hour a day to use my motivation, and is only going to get worse as I gain in levels. It would be faster when closer monsters are in, but at higher levels it'll still be a fairly significant time investment.

So yeah, my 2 cents are either the multiple fights idea, or perhaps power sources(or some future item) could reduce return time in addition to motivation costs.

Hey, speaking of that 'window of opportunity', think the profile page could indicate when person's golem is away? I think if somebody has the patience to sit outside there workshop waiting for them to leave, they deserve to be sure of it, instead of having to guess based on online status. :P

You really want any would-be bank robbers to know when they can get in and jack you and your brother? I guess that's ok with me.

actually I'd like to see whether a work shop is really defended for the opposite reason I attack people to gain exp since I always have more resources then I need slipping through some ones defenses is a waste of motivation for me

Yeah. That's important too. Especially because some people only bring out their best golems when they're online and using them. You've only got a little window to fight it, but it will be spending most of it's time walking back from missions. Your chance of getting an attack in on it with luck is... Well, random.
