I'm getting close to having Adamantine Golems researched, does anyone know how much material I'll need to make a body? Anyone have this researched yet? Hopefully it's not 7500 like copper/bronze/brass |

I'm pretty sure you'll be the first. As for the resource cost... Don't count on it? ^^; |

I was thinking 10k minimum. |

I would say 10K maximum... but that's still a ridiculous amount. Probably Adamant Golems will need to be enhanced in a number of ways before they're really "useful". (Like no minimum damage against them. :o) |

Making them would be relatively easy compared to maintaining them. I wonder what the cost would be in adamantine to repair a single point of damage... |

repairing, I'm less worried about, because eventually the only parts that would be adamantine is the chest, everthing else will be iron. |

Even if the chest is the only Adamantine part, imagine trying to fish up a hundred Adamantine every time a bone golem sneezes on your chest(300, if it's a crit!). It would be impossible under the current rates. We have trouble getting 250 together for a steam engine. So, hopefully it won't work with the same rates as a normal golem. If it does, it a simultaneously priceless and worthless statue. |

Getting the adamantine together for a steam engine has not been that bad. I have one in progress now, and parts for another, in case someone is interested in buying. |
