So, odd problem that is environmental, but I'd need a little help isolating it.

Firefox 3.0.5 on Vista Enterprise. Something got updated somewhere, and I don't know what to undo.

When I initiate a combat, I get an attack report and my cute premium graphic of injury/status.
It is a 1-sec return trip, so I attack again, and I get the exact same status report.
I attack again, and I get the report and graphic I should have received last time. Etc.

I head to the worktable to do a repair all, and when I click it, nothing happens. Click it again, and screen repaints with the fix and tells me the golem in unharmed.

What could cause the screens to lag one cycle?

a) say what you will about vista - it is pretty much the standard now for new PC's, and needs to be accommodated in test plans
b) It worked fine all along and then didn't. Browser related or windows update related - depends on what controls the refresh.
c) IE8 rc1 - anyone mess with this yet?
