I joined Pandora [www.pandora.com] yesterday and made Necrotales Radio.

Very cool site. Lets you create a "radio station" based on music you already like. It's a little finicky with its choices sometimes but is pretty fun way overall of getting introduced to new bands. You'll need a Flash player plugin in your browser to make use of it.

Oops, yeah, sorry. Forgot to mention that. A friend has recommended last.fm, which I think is worldwide, but I haven't signed up for that one yet.

I'm really liking Pandora tho. Finding myself introduced to a lot of bands I normally wouldn't have listened to.
