just wondering, it says under the other resource section that its impossible or not wise to make a golem out of something like gems or gold. Will these golems ever be implemented?

Don't expect to see off material golems... for one thing, silver and gold are just to pliable to remain shaped into one form, heck we don't even make rings without mixing the gold and silver with something else...
They're just not good materials for building things with.
Gold and Silver are used for the higher level powersources, and Gems see use in almost all the higher level items.

Elemental Golems (fire/water/air/earth/etc) seem more plausible than gem/gold/silver golems. Making golems out of gems/gold/silver would need an absurd amount of them or would trivialize the cost of everything that needs them now.
