It is a story made by everyone, basically each person can only say one word a post, and it would be nice to have more then 1 other person between your posts. ill start it with a simple sentence, and it will go on from there. also use punctuation (and sorry if your word has to be "in" "the" "a" ect. then you can only post the one word) (we can amend that for popular demand if there is populars demand it) (also put your word first and feel free to comment on the story so far, but don't say you want it like this or that)
Bob was driving home from work
a good start no? main character, and a setting. lets see what happens.......
specific rules (subject to change):
1) one word per post
2) make coherent sentences as much as possible
3) have, at the minimum, 2 other posts contributing to the story before you post your next word so you are not the only one making the story
4) punctuation is not necessary, but if you want to distinctly end a sentence then put a . or ! or ?. and don't worry about ,'s and :'s i will intervene if it seems like there is a run-on sentence and put a , or . where necessary.
5) feel free to "steer the story" in a particular direction (be it wrong or right, forward backward, left or right, up and down what have you) as that is the fun of it!!
6) boldface the word that you are adding to the story. Just cut and past the previous story so we don't have to scroll through 20 posts to read 2 sentences (ps if you want to you can get creative and underline or color it) |
