Worked my way up to a LV3 Clay Golem, but it's actually so 'powerful' now that I actually earn negative XP when sending it to fight anything. In other words, I lose XP. Could this be changed? At the very least, fix it as 0 XP... losing XP for 'overkill' doesn't make a whole lot of sense, particularly in PvP, where you actually aren't powerful enough to kill anything, on account of barricades and such. |

I think that the negative XP for PVP attackers makes sense - iirc, it's to provide game balance for people who attack others specifically for xp vs loot. (As a side note, I think being attacked should exempt people from negative xp. Pissing off the wrong group of people could result in your xp total going negative, which is just meta-uncool. Sure, you can destroy my golem and sack my worshop, but you shouldn't get to perform surgery on my life-experience.) In PVE, on the otherhand, it seems kind of silly to lose XP when fighting something. I can see not gaining any, but losing "knowledge" or "life experience" because I send my golem out to hit the close mobs?Last Edited: May 18, 2008, 1:57 am |

I agree with Tallis on the PVE part. You shouldn't lose any for attacking monsters. To add a bit of knowledge: you don't lose xp if attacked, if they have something that does damage, hands until we get some weapons, then you get at least one. |
