Like any market, it varies. The best rule of thumb is that iron is more expensive than other primaries and bone and flesh are the cheapest.

I know, not the exact answer you were hoping for, but the markets fluctuate. Items - due to their fixed construction cost, are the closest we have to being a stable benchmark atm.

Best thing to do really, is just take a look on the market for what the other offers are, comparing both "offering" and "wants" of the resource in question.

If you join a clan, your clan might set prices based on the market - my clan does (when our treasurer's not on vacation)

How to join depends on the Clan, and their requirements :)

The quickest way is to go to the Clan page, then search Clans for any with 'Open' invite status. Pick one you think you would like, click on the name and then the 'Join Clan' button.

Alternatively, you can get an invite wither from an 'Open' Clan or an 'Invite Only" Clan. Follow the invite and again, click 'Join Clan'.

There are lots of level one players in Clans. so don't worry about that. :)

Necro, I'd take a look around the forums, reading various unrelated topics and such. Find those who you tend to agree with and find amusing, and note which clans they are in. Probably the best way to ensure you enjoy yourself when you select a clan.

Yes clans are a big part of the game. They let you do different things, so perhaps considering what you like best will factor into the clan you select. Melee, Ranged weapons, Spells, Defense, Items are all different areas a clan specializes in. Clans get a secondary but it's not as strong as the main. Also how active a clan is helps, as a dead one can get rather boring.

For an invite-only clan, send a message to someone listed as an officer on the clan's page and ask for an invite. Many clans don't have minimum requirements, we just want to keep spies out ^^

I'm just curious as to why TOMU only advertises their cookies when there is a whole world of baked goods awaiting palates. I mean Sissel's take out dessert menu is all right, but I do better. XD

Now, now, Sissel. I don't mean to offend. Your entree's are delectable. But frankly, as a fairy dragon you have slightly different tastes than most Magi.

Case in point, while your use of Death Scavenger Beetle larvae and eggs in the brownies the other day was a truly inspired contrast of textures and flavors. Also it added nutritive content to a dessert to make sure your customers stay healthy and able to pace their golems while traveling throughout the realms.

Truly a genius choice and gourmands such as myself applaud it. If you remember, we even had a conversation about the merits of altering the taste with nutmeg and cinnamon.

But most Magi seem to view eating insects as a past-time best avoided. Tastes do differ. And I am perfectly happy to continue our friendly culinary rivalry and weekly exchange of recipes. I believe I'm hosting this week, and I have a recipe for glazed cashews and beetle larva that I think you will enjoy.

Jelli and I are both buried under a mound of paperwork, and Asmaria's usually busy beating up Red, so the dessert duty falls on the heads of Echo, Sconi, Kaelas, Daryoon, and Dilt. Would *you* trust any of them with a souffle?

Hey! I'm a rather fine cook, thank you. You don't get any of the homemade chocolate mousse I made for dessert tonight, so there!

*fixed my typo, mean lady.

*hits drack over the head with a rolling pin, the mark "Mrs. Giant" can faintly be seen printed on the side*

sorry folks, drackmore got away from us for a bit...he won't be bothering you any more.

____

But seriously drack, if you are going to offer iron that cheap you might as well be putting it in the clan warehouse. Iron is worth more than that.
