So I went hunting in the Necropolis, outside the workshop in Hans Mina. The first odd thing that happened was the sudden appearance of a clan HQ there. I can deal with that. The other, much odder thing, is that now, the return trip from the Necropolis to Hans Mina has dropped significantly, from the usual 90 seconds to 1 second.

Unless the NWO HQ has some massive golem-repulsing weapon, I don't think that return time is right.

Our massive golem-repulsing weapon was a secret project and it was never my intention for it to be fired this early.

I\'ll have to fire my technician for unauthorized field testing. We still have years of controlled testing and data collection that needs to be completed before we start firing this outside the lab. Theres no telling what kind of effects the radiation may have on humans or plants yet.

We're working on a similar device codenamed "Cattletech". Once we get the prototype up and running, how about a game of golem "pong"?

If you're willing to risk it, yeah. Our last test made the test golem implode to about the size of a common marble.

Of course, if you're not willing to risk your golem, I AM the leader of the darkest clan in muelsfell. I could always steal us one ;).

@Ileazar - There's a Premium feature I didn't announce. When hunting creatures in your closest hunting ground, the return time drops to nothing. This ONLY works when fighting creatures, and ONLY against those creatures in the nearest hunting ground. It shouldn't happen with mages or creatures that are further than one square away.

Due to the level bug, it was having some strange effects. Both should be working correctly now.

I have premium currently, but my return time is not nothing for my nearest hunting ground, it is 45 seconds. My nearest hunting ground is kitty-corner to my workshop, not directly adjacent, if that has any impact.

Hmm. Yes, the position in a corner like that is likely causing the problem. This may take some time to tweak out; depends on how precisely I can set the "distance" calculation (so that fixing it doesn't let folks attack two squares away with only 1 second return time). I'll see what I can do.

...and fixed as of now.

This tweak will also affect other "corner" areas, so even attacks against magi will be reduced slightly in time/motivation if they're in a corner position (but of course you won't see 1 second return times against magi).
