I was looking specifically for the going coin rate of light and heavy plate, but I'd be interested to know the going rate for most of the generic armors. Thanks! |

Our last estimate, used for calculating in-clan budgets, puts a light plate's cost at $2790 and a heavy plate at $14,000, with a medium plate between them at $7400. Of course this depends on the market price of iron. Add a markup for profit (or a markdown if they're undervaluing their iron) and you have market price of the armor. |

armour with a markup will likely not sell, you might well find a little difficulty even at cost. This is because armour falls off and gets stolen so frequently, and the fact that most clans provide services such as armour for their members at cost. As far as going rates go for the smaller stuff. Leather straps: just dump them, nobody wants them Iron Studs: you might be able to get five or ten coins, if you're lucky. Iron Bands: probably somewhere between 15-25. Iron Scales: 100-250 I'd guess. Light Plate: 1250-2400 seems to be about right Medium: 4-6k Heavy: 10-15k (heavy you might be able to mark up a bit, as not many people use it anywhere but the chest, so it doesn't get looted.) |
